QA Tester

Reports To Digital Director

Position Summary
The QA Tester is primarily responsible for quality assurance across all digital materials coded by the development team. The QA Tester runs various tests and reports to ensure that work meets all standards and guidelines.

• Define and uphold the QA process and set the highest standards in testing to support the requirements of the project
• Ensure that all issues & bugs are reported in an efficient & informative manner
• Own, manage, create and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle. This includes documenting testing practices, QA process and reporting methods
• Build automated performance testing and tracking
• Provide suggestions for improvements in testing strategies & processes
• Actively participate in test requirement gathering with the development team to ensure QA effectively tests & supports all features of the project
• Work closely with the development team in identifying, reporting & recreating bugs
• Communicate with other team members and the wider agency effectively
• Takes accountability for a range of projects using different technologies
• A very good eye for detail and consistency across all work
• Build client confidence by demonstrating an ability to successfully test and deliver a quality product
• Has knowledge and understanding of agency processes and how QA fits into the project scope
• Acts as an advocate and supporter of DDB Remedy in all interactions with the client or external suppliers
• Demonstrates teamwork at all times
