We are entering our commercial inflection point and are seeking a strategic, deal-driven commercial leader to shape and execute our global business development strategy.
The RoleWe are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with deep domain expertise in:
- Pharmacogenomics / Precision Medicine
- Pharmaceutical R&D workflows
- CRO ecosystems
- Strategic deal‑making in early-stage companies
This is not a growth‑scaling role yet.
This is a zero-to-one commercial architect role focused on:
- Strategic partnerships
- Design partnerships
- Platform validation contracts
- Long‑cycle enterprise negotiations
You will define our commercial foundation.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Commercial Leadership
- Develop and own Toxiproof
AI’s global commercial strategy - Build early lighthouse accounts and anchor partnerships
- Lead complex, multi‑stakeholder negotiations with:
- Large Pharmaceutical companies
- Precision medicine biotechs
- Clinical CRO organizations
- Structure strategic partnerships (co‑development, data‑sharing, licensing)
- Establish framework agreements and multi‑year SaaS contracts
- Build relationships with R&D leadership (CSO, VP Translational Medicine, Head of Toxicology), Clinical development leaders, Pharmacogenomics and biomarker teams
- Identify integration opportunities within existing pharma workflows
- Represent Toxiproof
AI at key industry conferences and partnering events - Define early revenue model and forecasting approach
- Support fundraising with commercial validation
- Contribute to investor narratives around pipeline and partnerships
- Build the initial commercial team when appropriate
- 10+ years in life sciences / healthcare commercial leadership
- Proven track record of enterprise deal‑making in:
Big Pharma, Biotech SMEs, CRO environments - Experience commercializing: AI platforms, Genomics solutions, SaaS products in drug development
- Prior role as CCO, CBDO, VP BD, or equivalent in early‑stage or scale‑up biotech/healthtech
- Background in pharmacogenomics, toxicology, or translational medicine
- Experience structuring data partnerships
- Understanding of regulatory environments impacting AI in healthcare
- Strategic thinker with execution bias
- Deeply relationship‑driven
- Commercially rigorous but scientifically fluent
- High ownership mentality
- 3–5 strategic lighthouse partnerships signed
- At least 2 enterprise pharma pilot programs launched
- Clear, validated pricing model
- Commercial pipeline aligned with fundraising milestones
