Job Description: As the first ML hire, you will build the foundational data and MLOps flywheel for a safety-critical Med Tech platform. You'll move beyond wrappers to develop custom algorithms and agentic RAG workflows that automate complex regulatory documentation. This is a high-impact, 0-to-1 role helping lifesaving medical devices reach patients faster through sophisticated automation.

What you will do:

• Architect and scale production-grade MLOps infrastructure including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and model versioning using tools like MLflow or Weights & Biases.
• Develop and product ionize advanced LLM solutions, including agentic workflows, RAG pipelines, and knowledge graphs to process complex regulatory documents.
• Lead the end-to-end data strategy, from building ETL pipelines and OCR tasks to fine-tuning models for safety‑critical healthcare applications.

The ideal candidate:

• 4+ years of proven experience in MLOps and NLP, with a track record of turning experimental algorithms into robust, scalable software products.
• Deep technical proficiency in the Python ecosystem, specifically with FastAPI, Pydantic, vector databases, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Founding team DNA: A high-agency builder who thrives in ambiguity and can make independent architectural decisions without needing established structure.
