Area Training Manager – London
Location: London (multi-site, in-venue role)
Reporting to: Training Team Lead

We’re looking for an Area Training Manager to own training standards across a designated London patch.
This is not a desk-based role. It’s a boots‑on‑the‑ground, in‑venue position designed to drive real performance impact. You’ll raise standards, build training culture, improve compliance, and ensure our teams don’t just know the spec… they live it.
You’ll act as the link between central training and operations, translating strategy into execution and making sure what’s designed centrally is delivered brilliantly in venue.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Training Delivery & Standards- Deliver structured, high-impact training sessions across your London area
- Lead and support new menu launch training rollouts
- Coach Managers and In Venue Trainers to confidently deliver training within their own teams
- Drive bartender progression from trainee through to certification
- Support assessment days, spec tests and certification processes
- Champion internal competitions and development initiatives
- Contribute to the evolution of future training structures
- Support the creation and refinement of training materials
- Provide clear, honest feedback on programme effectiveness
- Help shape a consistent, high standard of training across the region
- Contribute to wider training strategy
- Monitor and track mandatory training completion within your venues
- Support managers in driving LMS compliance to company standards
- Proactively follow up on overdue modules with clear action plans
- Ensure probation reviews and skill sign‑offs are completed correctly
- Maintain accurate reporting and training records
Conduct structured site visits and training audits
Identify performance gaps and build actionable development plans
Support onboarding of new team members within your area
Provide structured insight and feedback to the Training Team Lead
Act as the first point of contact for training support across your area
What We’re Looking For- Experience
- Previous hospitality training experience (essential)
- Strong bar operations background within high‑volume venues
- Experience delivering structured, engaging training sessions
- Comfortable working across multiple sites
- Strong organisational and reporting capability
- Solid understanding of cocktail specifications and service standards
- A confident communicator who can command a room
- Comfortable coaching, challenging and influencing managers
- Highly organised and able to prioritise independently
- Detail‑driven with strong follow‑through
- Solutions‑focused and commercially aware
- Professional, adaptable and credible in venue environments
- Training isn’t an add‑on. It’s how we protect standards, drive performance and build future leaders.
