Swi-tch is partnered with a well-established consumer brand investing heavily in its digital and cloud infrastructure. We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to strengthen the reliability, scalability and efficiency of a global e-commerce platform.
This role sits within a modern engineering function operating in a cloud-native, API-driven environment. You will play a key part in improving deployment pipelines, enhancing infrastructure automation and ensuring platform stability at scale.
The RoleAs a Dev Ops Engineer, you will work across engineering teams to streamline development workflows, optimise cloud environments and embed reliability and security into everything that ships to production.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys automation, improving processes and reducing operational friction.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment
- Manage and scale cloud environments with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
- Build automation tools to improve operational efficiency
- Embed security best practices into infrastructure and deployment processes
- Support production incidents and lead root cause analysis
- Identify bottlenecks in delivery pipelines and improve developer experience
- Document infrastructure standards and operational runbooks
- 2+ years experience in Dev Ops, SRE or similar engineering roles
- Strong experience with CI/CD tooling such as Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Circle
CI or similar - Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform, Cloud Formation or similar
- Scripting ability in Python or comparable languages
- Experience working in microservices or API-first architectures
- Exposure to cloud-native SaaS environments
- Understanding of modern composable commerce or MACH-style architectures
- Experience with observability platforms such as Data Dog, New Relic or Grafana
- Strong problem‑solving approach
- Proactive and improvement focused
- Clear communicator across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working in collaborative, cross‑functional teams
- Curious and motivated to explore new tooling and best practices
