* Build and refine technical pricing models to accurately quantify risk and optimise our pricing structures.
* Conduct detailed risk assessments to understand how internal and external factors influence the market, then develop effective mitigation strategies.
* Monitor performance closely, making real-time adjustments to pricing strategies to ensure we consistently hit our profitability targets.
* Partner cross-functionally with underwriting, actuarial, and product development teams to ensure our strategies are unified.
* Utilise advanced tools like Python, R, and SQL alongside industry-standard software like Earnix or Radar to improve model accuracy.
* Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends and competitor moves to ensure we remain a pioneering choice for our customers.
** We’re looking for someone who is:
*** Highly analytical, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a similar quantitative field.
* An industry expert with significant experience in insurance pricing and a deep understanding of market dynamics.
* Technically proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and comfortable using tools like Earnix, Emblem, or Radar.
* A strategic thinker who can develop innovative solutions to solve complex business challenges while maintaining profitability.
* A collaborative leader who is passionate about mentoring junior team members and fostering a high-performing culture.
