Senior Business Systems Analyst

Overview

This role is based in our London office at least 4 days per week.

Our Data Engineering team transforms complex client data into scalable, high-quality solutions that power digital media, messaging, and loyalty strategies. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll sit at the intersection of data, technology, and client strategy—ensuring customer and transaction data is accurately onboarded, automated, and optimised within our data warehouse ecosystem.

You’ll play a critical role in translating client requirements into actionable technical specifications, enabling seamless data integration and measurable business outcomes. By ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and governance, you’ll directly impact campaign effectiveness and long-term client success.

This role is based in our London office at least 4 days per week.

• Own the onboarding and automation of client customer and transaction data across Epsilon products
• Translate business requirements into clear, structured technical documentation for developers
• Analyse and interrogate client datasets to define scalable data warehouse solutions
• Create and validate data mapping rules to ensure accurate implementation
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring business rules are correctly applied in developer scripts
• Present onboarding results and insights to cross-functional stakeholders
• Act as liaison between clients, Engineering, Pre-Sales, and downstream teams
• Maintain database integrity and ensure data quality standards are consistently met
• Proactively communicate maintenance events impacting data loads and SLAs
• Build strong internal and external relationships to support long-term partnership success

• What you’ll bring with you:
  • 5+ years’ experience onboarding data as a Business Analyst, Data Solutions Engineer, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture
  • Advanced SQL skills and solid knowledge of relational database design
  • Experience working with ETL systems and file transfer methodologies
  • Confidence navigating Linux environments and using terminal commands
  • Experience working directly with clients and cross-functional technical teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate detailed specifications
  • Excellent time management skills with experience working to service-level agreements
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong analytical problem-solving ability
