Lead Data Modeler - Insurance - Hybrid London - Up to £90,000

I am partnered with a global consultancy delivering some of the highest-impact data transformations in the Insurance sector. They are investing heavily in Data Mesh, AI, advanced analytics and cloud modernisation and they are looking for a Lead Data Modeler to help shape the data foundations that make it all possible.

In this role, you will design business-aligned data models, lead senior stakeholder discussions, create Data & AI roadmaps, run workshops, guide multidisciplinary teams and contribute to major enterprise-level transformation programmes.

You Will Work With:
  • Analysing client environments and turning insights into robust data model designs
  • Delivering clear, business-facing Insurance data models for transformation programmes
  • Contributing to end-to-end data and solution architecture
  • Creating Data & AI roadmaps and strategic recommendations
  • Defining taxonomies, vocabularies and "common language for data" frameworks
  • Leading stakeholder relationships at senior and executive levels
  • Running workshops, defining requirements and reviewing outputs with business owners
  • Managing and coaching multi-disciplinary delivery teams
  • Supporting RFPs, proposals and wider go-to-market activity

Key experience:
  • Strong consulting experience in a client-facing role
  • Deep knowledge of core Insurance functions (Underwriting, Claims, Pricing, Finance, Risk etc.)
  • Proven experience building business-aligned data models
  • Strong understanding of data management, MDM, reference data, analytics & BI
  • Experience working with architects to build enterprise data solutions
  • Strong workshop-facilitation skills and the ability to define requirements
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Confident communication with senior stakeholders
