Vice President – Investment Analytics; Private Credit

This is a high-impact leadership role working closely with Investment, Portfolio Management, Data Engineering and Operations teams. You’ll shape and scale a private credit intelligence capability, transforming complex portfolio data into structured, decision-ready insight.

You’ll sit at the intersection of investment, data and technology — helping the organisation move beyond fragmented reporting toward consistent, comparable and forward-looking analytics that support confident investment decision-making in a fast-evolving private credit market.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and evolving the private credit investment analytics capability, ensuring it remains robust, scalable and aligned with investment needs
• Acting as a senior analytics partner to Investment and Portfolio Management teams, translating complex questions into structured data frameworks and clear insight
• Defining, sourcing and validating investment-relevant datasets to ensure outputs are consistent, comparable and decision-ready
• Combining internal operational data with GP-reported and external market information to deliver diagnostic, comparative and thematic analysis — not just reporting
• Shaping data standards and requirements with GPs and third-party providers to improve transparency, coverage and usability
• Creating and prioritising a clear analytics roadmap based on measurable investment impact and adoption
• Partnering closely with Data Engineering and Investment Data Operations to embed credit analytics within modernised data platforms and reduce reliance on manual processes
• Leading and developing a high-performing Investment Analytics team, fostering accountability, curiosity and strong stakeholder relationships

About you

You’re an analytically rigorous and commercially minded leader who enjoys structuring complexity and turning data into insight. You’re comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, influencing senior stakeholders and driving change in evolving environments.

You’ll likely bring:

• Significant experience in private markets, with strong exposure to private credit, portfolio analytics or investment operations
• A deep understanding of private credit structures, performance drivers and portfolio monitoring dynamics
• Experience supporting investment or portfolio decision-making with structured analysis
• A strong grasp of data governance, comparability challenges and portfolio transparency
• The ability to operate with a product mindset — prioritising initiatives based on impact and usability
• Experience leading and developing teams in collaborative environments
• Confidence working with third-party providers, data vendors and offshore teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely
• Professional qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA, IMC) preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with modern data environments and tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, Databricks or Snowflake
• Experience embedding investment analytics within centralised data platforms
• Exposure to automation or advanced analytical techniques in portfolio monitoring
• Comfort integrating AI tools into analytical workflows and building repeatable, AI-assisted processes
