We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Validation Manager to join our organisation in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In this pivotal role, you will lead validation initiatives and oversee the quality assurance of our SAP S4 HANA systems, ensuring compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and manage validation projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop and implement comprehensive validation strategies and testing methodologies specifically tailored for SAP S4 HANA environments, staying abreast of system updates and industry developments.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of validation specialists and quality assurance professionals, providing guidance on validation best practices and supporting their career progression. Analyse system configurations, data integrity, and process flows to identify gaps; conduct thorough root cause analysis on validation failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, business analysts, and key stakeholders to define validation requirements and acceptance criteria. Maintain comprehensive validation documentation, test cases, audit trails, and compliance records in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate validation outcomes, risks, and recommendations with clarity. Champion change management initiatives related to validation processes and system enhancements, whilst utilising analytical skills to optimise processes and recommend innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years of experience in validation, quality assurance, or testing

Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4

HANA implementation and configuration

Proven team leadership or management experience, including mentoring

Strong skills in data analysis, process modelling, and root cause analysis

Deep knowledge of validation frameworks, testing methodologies, and QA principles

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

SAP S/4

HANA or QA/validation certification (e.g., ISTQB, ASQA)

Experience with ERP implementations and enterprise-wide transformation programs

Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements

Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives
