The Role

As an AI Analytics Platform Apprentice, you will be supporting the Central i Product Delivery team which build s and runs a secure, governed AI and analytics platform that helps colleagues discover data and tools and use AI safely in their day‑to‑day work. The team connect business users to internal data products and applications, and to approved third‑party AI capabilities, while ensuring the right controls around security, risk, and responsible use of AI.

The team aims to deliver AI‑enabled experiences and products that address real business challenges while providing shared, reusable AI capabilities such as model access, orchestration, search and retrieval, evaluation, monitoring and governance. The team enables the safe and responsible adoption of tools including Copilot and third‑party AI solutions by offering clear guidance on what is appropriate for different use cases. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, the team translate stakeholder needs into scalable, well governed product features and AI solutions governed product features.

What

will you be doing?
  • Learn Centrali’s AI capabilities and how they fit alongside third‑party vendor tools and Copilot solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and identify where AI can add value.
  • Help translate needs into user stories, requirements, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Support discovery sessions and capture actions, decisions, and outcomes in a structured way.
  • Assist with delivery of AI features such as prompts, retrieval approaches, and tool integrations.
  • Support testing and evaluation of AI solutions (quality, accuracy, edge cases, user feedback).
  • Help run small proof‑of‑concepts to validate ideas quickly and safely.
  • Produce simple documentation, guides, and runbooks that make AI features easy to use.
  • Contribute to adoption activities including demos, show‑and‑tells and producing internal comms.
  • Follow security and responsible AI practices, escalating risks and issues early.
What will I need to be successful in this role?

  • Strong listening skills and comfort engaging with technical and non‑technical colleagues.

  • Ability to manage day‑to‑day tasks alongside apprenticeship learning commitments.
  • Basic analytical thinking and comfort working with evidence (testing, feedback, metrics).
  • Customer‑service mindset, focused on making tools easy and useful for colleagues.
  • Solid baseline Microsoft Office skills and comfort learning new tools quickly.
  • Team player who can work independently when needed and collaborate effectively.
