Role Overview :We are looking for a Junior
UX/UIDesigner to support our digital design projects from discovery through to delivery. You’ll work closely with senior designers, developers and account teams to turn insight into intuitive user journeys, wireframes and high‑fidelity interfaces. This is an ideal role for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn, iterate and grow in a fast‑paced agency environment.
Experience in content planning (e.g. sitemaps, basic information architecture, or mapping content to user journeys) is a bonus, but not essential – we’ll support you to build these skills on the job.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior designers and wider project teams to understand client briefs, user needs and business goals
- Contribute to UX activities such as user journey mapping, basic user flows and low‑ to mid‑fidelity wireframes
- Design responsive UI layouts, components and interaction states for web and mobile using our design system and brand guidelines
- Provide wider design support across clients, using the Adobe suite
- Show a can-do attitude, and handle multiple requirements in a fast‑paced environment
- Support simple usability testing or design reviews, taking notes and helping translate findings into design improvements
- Work with content, strategy and account teams to ensure designs support key messages and campaign goals
- 1-2 years in an agency or in-house creative team role
- Portfolio showing digital product or website work (academic, personal or commercial) with clear explanation of your design process
- Basic understanding of user‑centred design: user journeys, wireframes, visual hierarchy, accessibility fundamentals
- Proficiency with Figma (proficiency with other web tools such as Adobe
XD / Sketch is a bonus) - Proficiency with the adobe suite, able to support delivery of key projects outputs with a great eye for details and efficient working practices
- Strong visual design fundamentals: typography, layout, spacing, colour and consistency
- Ability to take direction, respond to feedback and manage your time across multiple projects
- Clear and confident communication skills when talking through your work with the team
