Solution Architect; SAP S​/HANA Public Cloud

The successful SAP S/4

HANA Public Cloud Solution Architect will take ownership of end-to-end solution design and drive successful outcomes across complex, multi-workstream SAP programmes. You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, ensuring solutions align with SAP Public Cloud principles while meeting real-world business needs.

HANA Public Cloud practice continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Solution Architects to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, future-proof SAP solutions for our clients.

This role works in a hybrid way, with occasional meetings with team members or clients in our London or Poole office, as well as attending client sites as required.

• Designing robust, scalable, and high-performing SAP S/4
  
  HANA Public Cloud solutions that maximise standard functionality while addressing client-specific requirements.
• Partnering closely with clients to translate complex business and finance requirements into pragmatic, fit-for-purpose solution designs.
• Leading conversations around configuration vs extensibility, enabling informed decision-making aligned to Public Cloud best practices and long-term sustainability.
• Ensuring solution architectures meet regulatory, security, data residency, and compliance requirements, particularly across finance-critical processes.
• Providing architectural leadership across project teams, mentoring consultants and senior team members to drive capability uplift and consistent delivery quality.
• Contributing to the ongoing evolution of Codestone’s SAP S/4
  
  HANA Public Cloud practice, including defining standards, methodologies, accelerators, and the future direction of our finance-led offerings.

• Proven experience designing and delivering SAP S/4
  
  HANA Public Cloud solutions (not on-premise or private cloud).
• Strong finance-focused background, ideally supported by an accounting qualification and/or extensive hands-on experience delivering SAP ECC and SAP S/4
  
  HANA Finance (FICO) implementations.
• Deep understanding of SAP standard scope, configuration boundaries, and approved extensibility options within the Public Cloud model.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Best Practices, Business Process Content, and fit-to-standard methodologies.
• Experience delivering across full project life cycles, including design, build, testing, deployment, and post go-live support.
• Confidence engaging senior finance, business, and IT stakeholders, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Comfortable working across agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery models.
• Experience working with mid-market organisations is advantageous.
• Work with a highly respected SAP practice focused on finance-led transformation
