A Data Analyst is required to join a specialist capital markets consultancy delivering data-driven solutions to Tier 1 investment banks and global financial institutions. Operating at the intersection of business and technology, the organisation supports clients across regulatory transformation, risk, trading, and enterprise data initiatives. With deep capital markets expertise and a collaborative consulting model, the firm delivers bespoke data solutions aligned to industry best practices.

This role sits within a growing Data Practice, supporting a broad range of data analysis and data science projects across financial services.

• Analyse financial datasets (client, product, trade data)
• Gather and define data requirements with business stakeholders
• Source, cleanse, enrich, and join data from multiple systems
• Automate routine analysis and regulatory reporting
• Monitor and improve data quality
  
  Document data transformation processes
• Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge
• Experience with Kdb+ (desirable)
• Advanced Excel (VBA advantageous)
• Strong data manipulation and cleansing skills
• Understanding of data governance and MDM principles
• Experience managing and improving data quality
• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, etc.)
