Senior Data Engineer - London - Financial Services

Salary - £100, + bonus

Location - Central London, 3 days onsite weekly

We're partnered with a global financial technology company operating at the intersection of private markets, data, and wealth management is looking for a Data Engineer to join its London-based technology team.

The company builds web-based platforms used by investment and wealth management firms worldwide, supporting complex data, reporting, and regulatory requirements across multiple regions.

• Designing, building, and maintaining data ingestion pipelines
• Championing strong data architecture and data quality across the platform
• Managing and optimising databases across environments
• Collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver new features
• Troubleshooting data issues and improving reliability and performance
• Writing clean, maintainable, well-tested Python code

• 5+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Experience using cloud platforms, ideally Azure
• Solid understanding of data modelling, quality, reconciliation, and debugging
• Comfortable working in Agile teams with modern version control
• Financial services or reporting experience is a plus
