Key Responsibilities- Design & Build:
Create and manage scalable AWS infrastructure following best practices for performance, security, and cost efficiency. - Automate & Streamline:
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation) and develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery. - Collaborate & Support:
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate Dev Ops solutions into project workflows and troubleshoot AWS environments. - Secure & Comply:
Apply security best practices, conduct audits, and maintain compliance with governance and regulatory standards. - Monitor & Optimize:
Develop monitoring and alerting solutions to enhance availability and proactively optimize cloud environments. - Innovate & Improve:
Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency and drive operational excellence.
- You should have proven experience delivering AWS-based Dev Ops solutions, combining strong technical knowledge with a collaborative and analytical mindset.
- You’ll bring the confidence to work independently while supporting and guiding others on more complex challenges.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, Code Pipeline).
- Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or similar) and experience with Git.
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or Cloud Formation).
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience working in Agile and consulting environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Maths, IT, statistics or physics related field.
- You should be entitled to work in the UK with legal work authorization status.
- Must be willing to travel within the UK as per project/client requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills.
