The Role

We are looking for a commercially focused Product Manager who has strong experience in CRO and on site experimentation. This role sits within our Technology-led Digital Product function and will take ownership of on-site performance, optimisation, and experimentation.

This role exists to ensure that changes to the website are intentional, evidence-based, and deliver measurable commercial impact. The Product Manager will work closely with a Product team, Engineering teams and delivery partners to turn insight into prioritised action and learning into scalable improvements.

They will be accountable for:

  • On-site performance outcomes. (e.g. Conversion Rate, Revenue per Visitor)
  • Prioritisation of the front-end digital product roadmap.
  • The quality, focus and impact of experimentation and CRO activity.
  • Ensuring the site evolves in a way that balances customer experience, commercial performance and technical sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership

Own the front-end digital product roadmap, focused on improving customer experience and commercial performance.

Prioritise initiatives based on:

  • Data and insight.
  • Commercial impact.
  • Customer value.
  • Delivery effort and risk.
  • Ensure roadmap decisions are outcome-led, not request-driven.
CRO, Experimentation & Decision-Making

Own the CRO and experimentation strategy for the website.

Work closely with the Product team and key stakeholder groups to:

  • Define hypotheses
  • Interpret data and experiment results.
  • Be a key decision maker on what to release, iterate or abandon.

Act as a decision maker on:

  • UX changes
  • Experiment outcomes.
  • Feature scope within the front-end domain.
  • Ensure experimentation is structured, measurable and focused on learning and impact.
Site Experience & Capability Ownership

Own how the site behaves from a customer experience perspective, including:

  • PDP, PLP, navigation, search and checkout experience.
  • Define and maintain guardrails and rules for merchandising and search systems as on-site capabilities.
  • Ensure changes are scalable, repeatable and aligned to long-term site evolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a clear point of accountability for on-site product decisions, reducing ambiguity, silo-ing and duplication across teams.

Work closely with:

  • The Product Analyst to review insights, trigger experiments and measure outputs.
  • The Engineering team and Delivery Lead to determine execution strategy.
  • Our External agency partners to build and experiment.
Collaborate with Marketing, Trading and B&M teams to:
  • -Understand commercial priorities
  • -Contextualise insight
  • -Share ideas, outputs and learnings
Governance, Quality & Ways of Working
  • Maintain clear product governance to ensure decisions are evidence-based and justified.
  • Ensure any changes are thoroughly thought through, formally logged & tracked and can be rolled back, if needed.
  • Make sure any learnings are captured and shared to ensure continuous improvement in execution.
  • Protect the Product roadmap from low value ad-hoc requests, launches and BAU noise.
  • Ensure the Product function operates with clarity, focus, and accountability.
