I am partnering with a lovely creative company who are seeking an experienced Head of IT to join their team based in London. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and open-minded candidate who comes from a start-up background.

• 10 plus years’ experience within the field
• Proactive and open minded, happy with no job too big or small
• Strong technical expertise and a problem solver
• Understanding of cloud technology
• Understand web hosting and Content Management Systems
• Proficient knowledge with Microsoft systems, virtualisation technologies
• Start-up experience
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Tech related degree is desired
• Experience in a start up

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of multi-site networks and IT infrastructure
• Managing Microsoft-based systems, cloud platforms, and virtualised environments
• Ensuring strong cybersecurity across on-site and remote services
• Administering cloud services, storage, backup, and user access management
• Maintaining LAN, WAN, VPN, and secure remote access technologies
• Supporting web hosting and content management systems
• Leading and developing a support and infrastructure team
• Driving operational efficiency, security improvements, and infrastructure best practices
• Supporting both office-based and remote users across multiple locations
• Personal IT support on a light touch basis

• Up to £100k DOE
• Hybrid working (3:2)
