Senior AWS Data Engineer | Snowflake & Airflow | High-Growth Data Platform Team The Role
You’ll join a rapidly scaling data engineering function at the heart of a major transformation programme. This is a hands‑on AWS engineering role where you will design, build, and optimise modern data pipelines that power a next‑generation insight platform. You’ll work across ingestion, enrichment, automation, and infrastructure, helping to shape how data is delivered and leveraged across the organisation.
What They’re Looking For:- Python engineering with a strong data‑leaning profile
- CI/CD with Jenkins
- Snowflake data solutions
- Exposure to AI/ML workflows or ingesting external/public datasets
- DBT for data modelling (nice to have)
- Python for data processing and transformation
- AWS services (S3, compute, orchestration, and data tooling)
- Terraform for infrastructure deployment and environment management
- ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration, and automation frameworks
- Snowflake for warehousing and analytics
- CI/CD via Jenkins
- Data integration with internal and 3rd‑party APIs
- Secure data practices, governance, and compliance standards
- Industry exposure to financial data, investment intelligence, or similar environments
- Experience working with data‑rich platforms at scale
- Familiarity with high‑volume enrichment pipelines
- Background in LSEG‑style or alternative‑data environments
You’ll be joining a team entering a major growth and modernisation phase. This is an opportunity to directly influence the engineering approach behind a data‑led platform used globally.
