About the Role

The Technical Delivery Lead is a hands‑on engineering role responsible for designing, building, and optimising solutions across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps & Function Apps), Power Platform, and Power BI. This role brings together technical engineering and strategic influence, contributing to technology direction, security standards, and architectural best practices in alignment with the Head of IT.

The ideal candidate is a highly capable technical lead with strong data engineering and security awareness, who enjoys solving complex problems and delivering scalable, secure digital solutions.

Location

This is a hybrid role based in our London office 1–2 days per week.

What you will be Doing Technical Delivery & Solution Engineering
  • Design and build solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks, Dataflows, and Warehouse models.
  • Develop and maintain Logic Apps, Power Automate flows, and Azure Function Apps for integrations and automation.
  • Build analytical and operational reporting solutions using Power BI, ensuring strong governance and usability.
  • Develop Power Platform apps and automations that support business efficiency and self‑service capability.
  • Build and maintain API integrations with third‑party systems.
  • Ingest, transform, and prepare structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement data quality, metadata, and lineage standards within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Support data science activities (exploratory analysis, feature engineering, modelling support).
  • Create scalable datasets and semantic models for business reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to security‑by‑design, including access control, data protection, and secure integration patterns.
  • Contribute to IT security strategy, including Microsoft cloud security, identity, API security, and platform hardening.
  • Define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, and reusable components.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
  • Act as the technical expert for cloud engineering, integration, and data.
  • Provide recommendations and strategic input to the Head of IT on emerging technologies, platform improvements, and security posture.
  • Work closely with suppliers, data teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Mentor relevant staff and champion best practices in automation, Dev Ops, and cloud architecture.
Experience Required
  • 5 years + experience
  • Hands‑on engineering experience with Microsoft Azure (Logic Apps, Function Apps, API Management, Managed Identities).
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Synapse/Data Lake/Data Factory.
  • Strong Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power Apps).
  • Proven experience building Power BI datasets, models, and reports.
  • Experience with cloud security, identity (Entra  / Managed Identities), and secure integration patterns.
  • Experience working in modern, cloud‑forward IT environments.
  • Strong proficiency in data transformation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills across cloud and data solutions.
  • Understanding of security best practices (CIS Benchmarks, Zero Trust, least privilege).
  • Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD Pipelines, Git‑based workflows.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced setting with minimal supervision.
  • Analyse large‑scale EV charging datasets including session logs, energy usage, uptime, and utilisation.
