Data Technical Lead

Are you interested in having full autonomy in enhancing a data platform and developing business insights at a trading firm?

You will be brought in as a Data Lead, working directly with the senior stakeholders in the firm to understand what insights they are looking to gain, then build a platform and dashboards using SQL, Python, and Power

BI.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to influence and steer the evolution of their data strategy, governance, and processes. You will play a key role in designing and implementing data capabilities, making a substantial impact on the organisation by fostering data-driven decision-making and achieving transformative business results.

This is a hands-on leadership position, so while you have good experience with Power

BI, SQL and Snowflake or other similar database solutions, you will have the opportunity to manage one technical data analyst.

As of 2023, this trading firm reported a turnover of $10 billion and equity of $1.7 billion and have rapidly grown over time – which will provide even more opportunities for progression within the role.
