Lead Data Analyst

I am working with an exciting organisation to appoint a Lead Analyst to join their Data Analytics & Insights function.

This is a senior, high-impact role combining strategic leadership with hands-on BI expertise. You will lead analytics initiatives that drive commercial performance, enhance partnership reporting, and embed data-driven decision-making across Partnerships, Marketing & Recruitment, and IT/Data teams.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, oversee BI and reporting transformation projects, and ensure scalable, well-governed analytics solutions are delivered and adopted across the business.

• Proven experience in business intelligence, analytics, or insight roles
• Strong Power BI (or equivalent BI tool) expertise, including data modelling and dashboard development
• Working knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel
• Experience delivering end-to-end analytics projects or transformation work streams
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
• Understanding of data governance, QA frameworks, and reporting best practice
• Experience mentoring or leading analysts
• Experience in education, partnerships, or complex commercial environments
• Exposure to CRM reporting (e.g. Salesforce)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Azure, Snowflake, Big Query)

• Proven track record of influencing strategic decisions through insight
• Experience leading BI migration or reporting modernisation initiatives
• Strong data storytelling capability - able to translate complex analysis into clear, commercial recommendations
