Band 5 Renal & Diabetes Data Manager | Royal NHS Foundation Trust

This is a fixed-term contract to cover a career break position from 02 February 2026 to 01 February 2027. The post holder will be office-based at the Royal Free Hospital within the Nephrology, Urology and Renal Transplant Division and report to the Renal Systems & Clinical Data Manager. The role may also require cross-cover for similar systems and data manager posts within the directorate during periods of annual and sickness absence.

The post holder’s primary responsibility will be to manage renal database systems, Vital Data, the diabetes database Diamond and any other databases used within the directorate.

• Maintain and update renal database systems and related clinical data tools.
• Coordinate with the Renal IT team to ensure data quality and system integrity.
• Provide cross-cover for other systems and data manager posts when required.
• Ensure compliance with NHS data governance and security standards.
