With a company culture rooted in collaboration, expertise and innovation, we aim to promote progress and inspire our clients, employees, investors and communities to achieve their greatest potential. Our work is the catalyst that helps others achieve their goals. In short, We Enable Possibility℠.
** Key Tasks and Responsibilities
*** Take ownership of extracting the maximum value from the Collibra platform.
* Responsible for the Collibra roadmap, backlog, and sprints ensuring the most valuable work is being prioritised and delivered to agreed timelines.
* Be accountable and responsible for development within Collibra and ensuring solutions meet best practices in solution design and technical implementation.
* Run training with stakeholders to drive adoption.
* Track KPI’s covering the completion and usage of Collibra.
* Lead, mentor, and manage two offshore developers to ensure they are actively engaged and delivering high quality solutions to the agreed timelines.
* Complete code reviews and solution designs for new features.
* Collaborate and influence the wider technical Collibra community across the various Arch Segments including the Group COE for Collibra.
** Skills / Competencies**
* ** Product Ownership:**  +
** Backlog Management**:
Expertise in defining user stories, prioritising features, and managing the product backlog in an Agile/Scrum environment.  +
** Value Realisation**:
Ability to identify underutilised features in Collibra and drive initiatives to extract value from them.  +
** Stakeholder Evangelism**:
Strong capability to “sell” the tool internally. Conducting demos and training sessions to increase adoption across non-technical and technical teams.  +
** Backlog & Prioritisation**:
Balancing “keep the lights on” maintenance with new feature development in the sprint backlog.  +
** Stakeholder Translation**:
Converting vague business requirements into technical specifications for yourself and the offshore team to build.
* ** Technical Configuration:**  +
** Workflow Engineering**:
Proficiency in reading and writing Groovy scripts and configuring workflows (Activiti/Flowable) to automate governance processes.  +
** Metamodel Design**:
Ability to hands-on configure asset types, relations, domains, and communities without relying on external consultants.  +
** Operating Model**:
Deep expertise in setting up and modifying the Collibra Operating Model to fit evolving business needs.  +
** Integration**:
Practical experience configuring Collibra Connect, Edge, or standard API’s to ingest metadata.
* ** Team Management & Leadership:**  +
** Offshore Management**:
Ability to bridge cultural differences to effectively manage the daily output of remote resources.  +
** Mentorship & Training**: A structured approach to upskilling staff – performing code reviews, creating “how-to” documentation. And running technical knowledge-sharing sessions.  +
** Task Delegation**:
Ability to break down complex user stories into technical tasks suitable for offshore execution.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a highly analytical discipline.
* Collibra Ranger or Collibra Solution Architect certification.
* Certified Scrum Product Owner or Professional Scrum Product Owner would be beneficial.
** Experience
* ** Minimum of 4 years of experience managing a Collibra instance, driving value from the platform and ideally overseeing upgrades and major module rollouts.
* Minimum of 4 years of direct, keyboard-level experience configuring Collibra. You must be able to demonstrate that you have built workflows and modified meta models yourself, not just managed people who did it.
* Experience managing or supervising offshore/nearshore teams. Specific examples of taking junior resources and upskilling them into effective contributors.
* Experience establishing standards, release management processes and code review practices for a small team.
* Experience designing and executing training programs that measurably increased platform usage.
* Experience identifying the highest value drivers within Collibra, effectively prioritising those, and tracking and communicating the value created.
