Overview

Location: Hybrid – 2-3 days/week in the London office

Contract: Permanent, full-time

You will be a technically minded graduate with programming or software experience who is interested in applying technical skills to CRM, automation, and data-driven customer journeys. You do not need any marketing experience
. If you enjoy logic, data, systems configuration, problem‑solving, and working with technology, this role provides an opportunity to apply those strengths in a commercial environment. You will learn how to build workflows, automate lifecycle communications, manage CRM data structures, and support lead management. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams and gain practical experience in how CRM systems support business growth.

This role plays a key part in that ambition. As a CRM & Hub Spot Technical Executive
, you will help build the automation, workflows, data structures, and system logic that power Caxton’s future customer experience. Your work will ensure our communications and journeys are intelligent, and our operations run efficiently: directly supporting Caxton’s mission to deliver timely, intuitive, and personalised communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hub Spot CRM Configuration & Technical Execution
    • Support the daily operation of Hub Spot CRM, including objects, data properties, and segmentation
    • Build and configure automation workflows using conditional logic, triggers, timers, and branching paths
    • Set up and maintain automated email sequences (templates, logic, scheduling)
    • Help ensure CRM data cleanliness through imports, deduplication and validation checks
  • System Logic, Automation & Troubleshooting
    • Help map customer journeys and translate them into workflow logic
    • Assist in testing, debugging, and optimising CRM automations
    • Work on small integration tasks and ensure systems sync correctly with Hub Spot
    • Collaborate with technical stakeholders on improvements or new features
  • Lead Management & Operational Support
    • Monitor leads and maintain accurate data structures for routing to Sales for business services
    • Support adjustments to lead scoring models and lifecycle stage logic
    • Work with the Sales team to optimise the lead handover process inside Hub Spot
  • Retention & Lifecycle Automation
    • Assist in building automated journeys for onboarding, engagement and reactivation for our Travel customer
    • Configure triggers for personalised offers, reminders, or usage prompts
    • Support the optimisation of customer touchpoints based on behavioural data
  • Campaign Technical Setup & System Operations
    • Assist with Daily Rate Alerts (templating, logic, content updates)
    • Help prepare automated communications around economic announcements
    • Ensure systems, workflows and templates are accurate and ready for deployment
    • Track performance metrics using Hub Spot dashboards and CRM reports
    • Maintain and update dashboards related to engagement, conversion and pipeline
    • Use data insights to suggest improvements to workflow logic or journey design
    • Support basic A/B testing execution and monitoring
