Senior Risk Business Analyst - Energy Trading - London - Inside IR35
Cititec has partnered with a leading global commodities trading firm seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a major Risk Transformation programme.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting their energy trading business, defining business and data requirements, and supporting the greenfield integration of a new Risk Platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior BA with growing SME capability who wants to deepen exposure to risk systems, commodity analytics, and data architecture.
Experience required:
- Strong Market Risk knowledge (VaR, stress testing, exposure, risk factors, Sensitivities)
- Familiarity with commodity market data (curves, spreads, vol surfaces)
- Experience with Credit Risk, PFEs, Margins
- Must have experience with Commodity Risk and associated risk platforms
- Experience with Market Data and market data platforms
- Python & SQL for data wrangling, validation, and API testing is a plus
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, ETL pipelines
