AboutThe Role
Six Degrees is seeking a SOC Engineer to monitor the environment, identify and respond to security threats. You will be responsible for onboarding, maintaining, and fine-tuning security monitoring solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies for our clients. The successful candidate will also serve as a point of escalation for analysts, helping to understand alarm context and, if required, modify detection logic to prevent future occurrences or eliminate superfluous alerts.
RoleRequirements
- Experience with Sentinel, integrations and wider Azure technologies. This is a customer-facing role with potential high-pressure situations; candidates should demonstrate strong time management and problem-solving skills to drive engineering issues to resolution.
- Candidates will be required to achieve SC clearance.
- Industry standard certifications for operational technologies (e.g., SC-100, SC-200, AZ-500).
