The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team. As a Pro Serve Cloud Architect, you will work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, designing and implementing tailored cloud solutions. You will be a key player in the sales process, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer's cloud journey.

Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers, SCE teams, Pro Serve Account Executives, Delivery Consultants, and Account Teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions. Operate as the liaison between Pro Serve Account Executives and Delivery Teams, ensuring proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, and leverage the full capabilities of Pro Serve and partners. Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and solutions to address their challenges.

Success in this role is measured by impacting the signing of Statements of Work (SOWs) and successfully implementing solutions that achieve customer business outcomes. Performance will be measured against key metrics including Revenue, Billable Bookings, and deal cycle duration.

• Design scalable and secure AWS solutions, estimates, and proposals to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs).
• Provide technical guidance and best practices during the sales and implementation phases.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Support proposal development by contributing technical inputs, solution assumptions, and risk considerations under guidance from senior team members.

The ACDC program is designed for customers ready to make a substantial move to AWS, enabling them to migrate and modernize quickly, cost‑effectively and securely. The program applies a holistic approach, providing tailored support and bespoke investments to customers in exchange for longer‑term contractual commitment to migrate, modernize and maintain workloads on AWS.
