DevOps Engineer; SC Cleared

Our client is delivering secure cloud and platform engineering services within a highly regulated UK environment. They operate modern, containerised infrastructure across AWS and Kubernetes, supporting mission-critical services. Due to continued platform growth and enhancement work, they are seeking an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to strengthen their cloud and CI/CD capability.

• Day rate of £500 - £575
• Minimal onsite requirement (2 days per month, Greater London)

As a Dev Ops Engineer
, you will support and enhance a secure AWS‑hosted Kubernetes platform. You will manage containerised workloads, maintain CI/CD tooling, implement infrastructure as code, and ensure the stability, security and performance of cloud environments. The role includes platform support, monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement across container orchestration and cloud‑native services.

• Active SC clearance
• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes (CKA desirable)
• Experience with AWS (VPC networking, EC2, RDS, S3, SQS)
• Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Linux administration and shell scripting
• Experience supporting CI/CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Drone CI, Sonarqube, Artifactory)
• Monitoring/logging tools such as Sysdig and ELK / Open search
• Experience supporting secure connectivity (e.g. OpenVPN)
• Exposure to Kafka / MSK beneficial
• Experience with KOPS desirable
