DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an SC Cleared Dev Ops Engineer to support critical public sector programmes. You will work within secure, large-scale environments, helping to design, build and maintain resilient platforms that underpin essential government services.

This role is ideal for an engineer with strong experience in Linux based environments and hands-on development using Go, NodeJS, Python or Java, who is comfortable working across infrastructure and application delivery.

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure public sector platforms
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration in Linux environments
• Support application deployment and reliability across cloud and on-prem systems
• Collaborate with development, security and operations teams to improve platform resilience
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise system performance
• Contribute to Dev Ops best practices, tooling and standards within a regulated environment
• Active UK SC Clearance (mandatory)
• Proven experience as a Dev Ops Engineer in complex environments
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
• Development experience in Go, Python and/or Java
• CI/CD tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions or similar)
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments (public sector, defence, financial services or similar)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation)
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
