The team is looking for a Senior IT Engineer to drive technology initiatives, deliver high-level support, and ensure the successful implementation of critical IT projects.
Responsibilities- Providing senior-level systems administration and end-user support within a financial environment
- Acting as the subject matter expert for Windows and Active Directory
- Managing Office 365 and hybrid cloud environments
- Supporting and administering MDM solutions (JamF or Intune)
- Supporting VMware environments and performing routine maintenance
- Writing Power Shell scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency
- Handling light network support, escalating where needed
- Travelling occasionally to the data centre outside trading hours
- 5-10 years of experience in systems administration and end-user support within a financial environment
- Strong experience with Windows systems, Active Directory, and Office 365
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and MDM tools (JamF or Intune)
- Familiarity with VMware administration
- Power Shell scripting skills to automate tasks
- Willingness to handle occasional data centre visits outside trading hours
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset in a high-pressure environment
- City of London (on-site)
- £75,000 – £100,000 base + bonus
