We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Data Migration to lead large-scale migration programmes within the insurance/warranty domain. The role focuses on migrating legacy policy and customer data to modern platforms, ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and successful cutover delivery.

This is a hands-on delivery role, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Own end-to-end data migration delivery (planning, profiling, cleansing, ETL, testing, cutover)

* Define migration strategy, governance, RAID, and delivery plans

* Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders

* Oversee data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and data quality controls

* Ensure compliance with GDPR and UK regulatory requirements

* Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations

* Lead and motivate cross-functional delivery teams

* Provide clear documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication

Required Skills & Experience

* Min 7+ years of Project Management experience

* Must have a strong background in insurance or warranty systems

* Proven delivery of large-scale data migration programmes

* Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud platforms

* Solid understanding of databases, SQL, and data integration challenges

* Strong knowledge of PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile methodologies

* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills

* Experience working in regulated environments

Nice to Have:

* Experience managing multi-vendor delivery

* Background in policy administration systems

* Strong governance and audit-focused delivery mindset
