Collibra Data Governance Specialist (Mid‑March Start)
We are supporting a major client seeking to engage an experienced Collibra Data Governance Specialist to help expand and mature their enterprise data governance capability. This role is hands‑on, with a strong focus on Collibra configuration, workflow design, and governance process implementation.

Collibra Data Governance Specialist
Start:
Mid‑March
Location:
UK (remote or hybrid depending on client requirements)
Engagement:
Contract, 6-12 months with potential extensions
Responsibilities
Configure, customise, and administer the Collibra Data Governance platform
Set up domains, communities, operating models, workflows, and governance assets
Utilise Collibra features including Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, Stewardship, and Policy Management
Design and implement data governance processes and workflows
Support data definitions, classification, metadata management, and lineage capture
Collaborate with data owners, stewards, architects, and business stakeholders
Promote adoption of governance standards, processes, and best practices
Produce documentation, guidance, and governance materials as required
Required Experience
Hands‑on experience configuring and setting up the Collibra Data Governance platform
Strong understanding of Collibra features, operating models, and workflow design
Experience across core data governance disciplines:
Data definitions and glossary management
Metadata management
Data classification
Data lineage (business and technical)
Ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders
Experience designing governance workflows and processes
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Desirable Experience
Background in insurance or financial services
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, Solvency II, or BCBS 239, ACORD
Exposure to data quality, metadata, or cataloguing tools
Understanding of data architecture or data management practices
