About

The Role

Twelve Labs is at the forefront of video AI technology, transforming how businesses understand and utilize their video data by leveraging our multimodal video foundation model. As we expand in the UK and Europe, we seek a strategic leader to build and scale our sales operations across this high-growth region.

Head of Sales, EMEA will define and execute our go-to-market strategy for the UK and broader European market, with a primary focus on the Telco, Media & Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports (TMEGS) verticals. The UK and EU are critical growth regions, with strong engagement from leading TMEGS organizations, partnerships with SIs and hyperscalers, and opportunities to establish Twelve Labs as a trusted partner for video AI across Europe’s media landscape.

You will be responsible for building and leading both pre-sales and post-sales teams, developing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across the region. This role requires strategic thinking, deep understanding of the European media landscape, and the ability to navigate diverse markets and buying behaviors. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and global sales leadership to position EMEA as a major revenue driver for Twelve Labs.

In this role you will
  • Build and lead the EMEA sales organization. Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and SDRs to meet regional growth targets.
  • Define and execute the regional go-to-market strategy across the UK and EMEA markets in TMEGS verticals (TV networks & broadcasters, film & TV studios, streaming platforms, publishers, sports leagues, and gaming organizations).
  • Own customer relationships and drive revenue. Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers at leading organizations to accelerate adoption and expansion of Twelve Labs' technology.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles. Navigate long-term sales processes across diverse European markets, adapting to regional procurement, compliance, and buying behaviors.
  • Develop and leverage strategic partnerships. Build and deepen relationships with ecosystem partners (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, NVIDIA) to expand market reach and adoption.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Partner with Marketing for regional messaging and demand generation; work with Product & Engineering to align solutions with European requirements; coordinate with global sales leadership on best practices and strategy.
  • Educate the market on AI capabilities. Help European customers understand the potential of multimodal video foundation models for use cases such as content discovery, automated editing, audience insights, compliance, monetization, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive regional pipeline and revenue growth. Set ambitious sales targets, build a healthy pipeline across named accounts, and provide strategic updates to leadership on deals and opportunities.
  • Shape company strategy. As a founding member of our EMEA GTM efforts, contribute to broader company strategy and help establish the sales culture across the region.
You may be a good fit if you have
  • 10+ years of enterprise software sales experience with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role, ideally focused on the UK and/or broader EMEA markets.
  • Deep expertise in TMEGS verticals. Proven track record selling to Media & Entertainment, Broadcasting, Telecommunications, Sports, or Gaming organizations across Europe, with established relationships in the ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success building 0-to-1 sales organizations. Experience establishing new regional operations or launching new products in EMEA, ideally as part of an early-stage startup or new market entry.
  • Strong team-building and leadership skills. Ability to recruit, develop, and scale sales teams from the ground up in fast-paced environments.
