As a Business Developer you will be the bridge between Intelic’s groundbreaking technology and our partners in the defense industry. You will identify strategic opportunities, establish partnerships, and support expansion into new markets across Europe. Working closely with our leadership team, you will directly influence Intelic’s roadmap and ensure our solutions meet the needs of partners and defense stakeholders. Your role is about understanding client needs, positioning our solutions effectively, and driving sustainable growth for Intelic.
Inpractice this means:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Europe and translate them into commercial results.
- Build and coordinate international partnerships and onboard technical partners to expand our partner network for European Defence Fund, NATO, and MoD programs.
- Represent Intelic at international trade shows, events, and partner meetings.
- Support the preparation of proposals and tenders with engineering, finance, and leadership.
- Conduct market and competitor research to guide strategy and growth plans.
- Translate strategic objectives into a concrete pipeline of opportunities.
You are entrepreneurial, analytical, and thrive in an international environment. Your role combines strategy, and business development, making you comfortable at the intersection of commercial growth and technical innovation. You combine a commercial mindset with the ability to understand complex technological and strategic contexts. With excellent communication skills, you can build trust, influence decisions, and open doors to new opportunities.
- Strong analytical and communication skills (English required; Dutch or other European languages are a plus).
- Commercially driven, with a strong ability to recognize, generate, and develop opportunities.
- Proactive, independent, and structured working style with willingness to travel internationally.
- Interest in defense, AI, robotics, or unmanned systems, ideally supported by a technical background.
- Experience in business development, consultancy, tender procurement, or working with defense stakeholders (MoDs, primes, universities).
- Familiarity with European defense frameworks such as EDF, NATO, or MOD programs.
- You will establish relationships with local Primes, with the goal to convert them into substantial partnerships
- You will establish relationships with local Governments on all levels, to leverage for the promotion of Intelic
- You will create synergy between these two focus-area's to increase their willingness to collaborate with Intelic
- Engage with local Partners that could have added value to our AI Marketplace/Ecosystem
- Talented Team: Collaborate with some of the brightest engineers and defense experts in the Netherlands.
