Application Readiness (Release / QA) - Health Checks / Assessments

2 days per week in the office

We need a QA who specialises in IT Application & Release Readiness, who can carry out Health Checks / Assessments, governing how subsidiaries of this global business, deliver their IT Services & Applications.

You will need to be familiar with IT Testing, however, this is NOT a Testing role, it is checking, gathering and reviewing evidence to determine how well the project has been delivered and if it is secure and business-ready to go to production.

The sorts of questions you'll be asking....

• Have they got the correct change approval for the project?
• Is the IT Application secure with no bugs?
• How do they intend to release the Application?

We need someone who is prepared to push back and let managers know that if they don't make certain changes then their IT Application may not get signed-off, so you'll need to get proof of the Testing Strategy, such as Defect Back Logs, and make sure the correct Testing tools are being used (SDLC) and checking the quality of the code.

Once you've found the evidence, you'll then produce the report, letting the manager know what needs to be done for a successful delivery next time.
