Job Title: QA Automation Tester
Location: London - 4 days per week onsite
Salary/Rate

Up to £315 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 09/02/2026
Job Type: Contract until the end of 2026

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

The ideal candidate will lead automation efforts, ensure high-quality delivery, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams, create Test Strategy & Test Plan.

This role also involves contributing to the Quality Guild for end‑to‑end (E2E) testing best practices.

Strong expertise in API automation and Cypress (mainly Playwright/Cucumber Framework for API & UI automation and Bruno for manual API testing).

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright Cucumber (Type Script/JavaScript).
• Automate APIs and integrate with Git Hub Actions.
• Define and implement E2E testing strategies & Test plan for project.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
• Mentor team members and drive automation excellence within the Quality Guild.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright Cucumber (Type Script/JavaScript).
• Proficiency in API testing tools (Bruno or similar).
• Solid understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD, and best practices.
• Experience in E2E testing and quality governance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
