HANA, Success Factors and Ariba to replace the current SAP solution and off system processes. - Introduction of a Service Integration partner to support implementation and ongoing technical support of the new ERP solution.
The first stage of implementation which focussed on SAP Concur is now complete. Implementation of S4
HANA, Ariba and Success Factors is scheduled for mid-2026. These changes require extensive change management and training activity to support the successful rollout and adoption across the organisation.
Work with the Finance Transformation Business Change Lead, SI partner, Procurement and Operations Finance Product Owners and programme resources to prepare the organisation for changes to its Procure to Pay processes and introduction of SAP Ariba.
The programme’s SI partner is responsible for delivery of training needs analysis, curriculum, designs and training materials using SAP Enable Now.
The role will use these outputs, make updates where required and be responsible for delivery of end-user training on the new procurement processes and the use of SAP Ariba via recorded and live courses, demos and support for self-learning using written material.
End users include the Procurement functional team, related Finance staff and those who interact with procure to pay processes for specific tasks such as ‘Purchasing Officers’, Operation Leads and Contract Managers.
The Trainer will monitor effectiveness of training activity as part of business readiness assessments in the run up to go-live, during hypercare and as part of adoption tracking assessments, adapting approaches as required.
The role will hand over training material to the business-as-usual support functions to own and maintain as part once rollout is complete.
Responsibilities- Undertake an assessment of the programme’s existing training collateral (written and recorded), working with our SI partner to make necessary additions and updates as required to create a suite of fit for purpose end user material.
- Conduct training courses on the use of SAP Ariba and the associated full suite of procure to pay business processes. Courses will be delivered both online and in-person in London HQ (although there may be a requirement to travel to Resident Offices outside the UK):
- End users (up to c500 finance and relevant staff in line with the training plan)
- VIPs users
- Programme Product Owners and process SMEs
- Translating process design documentation into end-user facing training material to help users understand the background and context of a process and system change and where individual user roles fits within the end-to-end process flow.
- Answer staff’s ‘How Do I’ queries via Microsoft Teams, email and in person communication channels.
- Develop content as required to respond to user need and issues/queries trends identified during readiness activities.
- Liaise with our SI partner to build learning paths within SAP Enable Now and the LMS system and upload of content into each path where required.
- Develop learning evaluation measures, including knowledge checks, course evaluations, and tests.
- Provide SAP Ariba application knowledge, methodology expertise and/or industry knowledge.
- Work with programme support resources on scheduling, logistics and oversight of the training plan and to monitor training engagement/attendance.
An understanding of the end to end procure to pay process and how this operates within SAP Ariba.
Required Skills- SAP Ariba end-user training experience, ideally in a Financial Services/Banking sector-based setting.
- Clear implementation experience and expertise in training delivery using SAP Enable Now including to plan, design, develop, organise, write, and edit recordings and book pages.
- Experience of translating process design documentation into end-user facing training material.
- Experience conducting and using training needs assessments covering system and process elements of SAP Ariba implementations.
- Experienced classroom and virtual trainer, comfortable in presenting to both large and small audiences, including those who may provide challenge on why change is happening.
- Proven ability to develop engaging and effective training designs and material to provide essential knowledge and enhance user adoption.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to react to changing requirements and to work at pace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure with multiple deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills; ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders.
