Salary: £21,500 – £24,260 per annum (inclusive)

ResponsibilitiesDeliver and maintain a high‑quality telecoms technical support service to customers and stakeholders.
Manage daily, weekly and monthly telecoms support checklists, provide 3rd‑line technical support and troubleshoot complex ICT issues.
Ensure accurate documentation and SLA compliance, support service delivery and contribute to Telecoms Team projects.
Maintain system patching and firmware updates, manage hardware replacements, ensure secure and reliable backups, and uphold device security, encryption and antivirus compliance.
Develop and deploy installers, applications and Gold Build images across BHRUT devices.
Act as subject‑matter expert in Telecoms infrastructure, supporting and maintaining BHRUT telephony systems (telephones, DECT phones and bleeps).
Collaborate with customers and engineers to resolve technical issues through root cause analysis.
Provide specialist support in the operational management, implementation and ongoing maintenance of telephony communication networks and related projects.
Ensure continuity of service to all end users, manage and supervise approved third‑party service providers and contractors, and provide guidance and support to Telecoms Analysts.
Identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost‑effective technology solutions across the Trust.
Work with colleagues across the team and department, troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to major and specialist projects.
Person Specification Education / Qualifications- Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
- Management training or management qualification (e.g., ILM) or equivalent experience of managing a team.
- Evidence of continuing professional development pertaining to the post.
- Vendor certification relating to network and/or telecoms.
- PRINCE2 Certification.
- Previous experience in a similar position within the NHS or healthcare provider.
All new staff appointed at the Trust are subject to a probationary period.
All salaries are inclusive of standard allowances (e.g., High Cost Area for staff on Agenda for Change contracts).
Flexible catering for part‑time hours and flexible working will be considered where service delivery allows. Discuss flexibility requirements with the recruiting manager.
