Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Systems Engineer, Cloud Computing
We’relooking for a passionate Product Engineer to join our team at STRATOS – someone excited to sit at the intersection of product thinking, data engineering, and applied AI.
Your work will enable STRATOS to support a wide variety of enterprise applications of the platform with marginal effort, turning insight into durable product leverage. In a world where competitive advantage is created by adaptable platforms rather than bespoke solutions, you’ll help shape the foundations that allow STRATOS to scale across industries, geographies, and operating models.
About STRATOS
Our founders, former business and tech executives, led a $1B division at a Fortune 500 industrial company. To effectively steer their business, they built a digital twin of their enterprise – the first Strategy Operating System : a platform that unified all internal and external data into a single system to drive synchronized planning and execution across a global organization.
Seeing both the impact and the market’s lack of such a system, they left their executive roles to launch STRATOS in 2022 with a bold mission: to build the world’s first strategy operating system.
Fast forward three years – STRATOS is a category-defining, rapidly growing startup, already helping our clients, global industrial companies, outperform their competition. Our platform combines deep data integration, a powerful suite of best-in-class workflows, and cutting-edge generative AI.From commercial AI agents that can serve entire markets to embedded intelligence that supercharges lean teams, STRATOS enables customers to achieve 10x productivity and impact.
Why Product Engineering at STRATOS
As STRATOS scales, our success depends on transforming learnings from custom product adaptions done in the field into our core, configurable platform functionality.
Product Engineering at STRATOS is about:
- Generalizing from real-world complexity
- Designing abstractions that hold across diverse business contexts
- Building flexible systems that adapt without fragmenting whilst managing complexity
You’ll collaborate closely with Forward Deployed Engineers, product leaders, and customers toidentifytheir common core functionality; and then develop configurable products that enable those diverse use cases within a single code base. This enables the STRATOS platform to be deployed repeatedly, reliably, and at scale.
The main responsibilities are expected to be:
- Understand new and emerging customer use cases by collaborating with Forward Deployed Engineers, product managers, and end users
- Translate those use cases into configurable, reusable platform functionality that can be deployed across multiple customers , built in Palantir Foundry as deployable templates.
- Design and build scalable data models, workflows, and abstractions that support a high degree of variation without custom code
- Develop and extend generative AI workflows and system capabilities (e.g. using platforms like Palantir AIP) as part of the core product
- Build and maintain robust data integration capabilities using PySpark and other distributed technologies
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform coherence, maintainability, and extensibility
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the evolution of the STRATOS platform
- The opportunity to help build a category-defining platform that transforms how industrial companies operate and compete
- Close collaboration with an elite, interdisciplinary team of experienced tech and business leaders
- A highly competitive compensation package, including meaningful stock options
- A vibrant and inspiring office in Soho, London
- A mission-driven culture: we’re net-zero on CO₂ and donate 1% of revenue to social impact causes
- 2– 6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or product-focused engineering roles
- Experience working on platforms or products , not just one-off implementations
- The ability to translate complex, ambiguous business problems into clean, extensible technical solutions
- Strong fundamentals in Python, PySpark , and SQL
- Comfort able working in fast-moving startup environments where requirements evolve quickly and can be unclear
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, or experience with tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, DBT and Air flow.
- Comfortable working with Typescript
- Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP (e.g. SAP, Oracle) or CRM platforms
- Exposure to generative AI systems, orchestration frameworks, or AI-enabled workflows
