Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant

Hybrid, 2-3 Days Onsite, London
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Functional Consultant to join our team and play a key role in designing, delivering, and optimising CRM solutions across the business. This hybrid role requires 2-3 days per week onsite, providing the opportunity to collaborate closely with stakeholders while maintaining flexibility.
Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Delivery- Lead functional workshops to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 CE solutions.
- Design end-to-end CE processes across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and related modules.
- Produce high-quality functional documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and solution design documents.
- Configure D365 CE entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and model-driven apps.
- Support integrations with Power Platform, Azure services, and third-party applications.
- Act as the primary functional liaison between business teams, technical teams, and external partners.
- Challenge and refine requirements to ensure alignment with best practice and platform capability.
- Deliver user training, adoption support, and post go‑live guidance.
- Contribute to project planning, sprint ceremonies, and release cycles.
- Support testing cycles, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Provide functional expertise during deployments, cutover, and hypercare.
- Proven experience delivering D365 CE solutions across multiple modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service desirable).
- Strong understanding of Dataverse, security roles, solution management, and environment strategy.
- Hands‑on configuration experience with:
- Business process flows
- Workflows and Power Automate
- Model‑driven apps
- Custom entities and relationships
- Ability to run workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable designs.
- Strong documentation skills and experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Integration patterns using Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, or APIs.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, plugins, or solution extensions (not essential but beneficial).
- Hybrid working model with meaningful in‑person collaboration.
