Role Purpose

The Group People Systems Manager will lead the strategic direction, oversight and optimisation of the Company’s global HCM SAP Success Factors and other people systems, ensuring they continuously adapt to changing business needs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Alignment & Technology Roadmap
    • Work closely with functional stakeholders to translate business strategy into long‑term technology roadmaps.
    • Identify opportunities for technology to support business growth and efficiency.
    • Recommend new technologies and system upgrades based on vendor roadmaps and operational requirements.
  • Systems Estate Oversight
    • Monitor technology performance and ensure systems are fit‑for‑purpose.
    • Govern how technology and data are used within the function, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.
    • Endorse recommendations for system upgrades and replacements.
  • Project & Programme Delivery
    • Support creation of functional technology programmes and investment cases.
    • Oversee delivery of all new technology investments approved by the Enterprise Project Management Office.
    • Manage project activities, including planning, resource allocation, progress monitoring and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
    • Act as point of contact and advisor for all technology requirements within people systems.
    • Engage with functional leaders, vendors and regulatory bodies to ensure solutions meet functional needs.
    • Ensure adherence to group‑wide governance frameworks.
  • Change Management & Adoption
    • Oversee change management activities for new system implementations and upgrades.
    • Promote effective adoption and provide training and support.
    • Monitor and report on adoption rates and user feedback.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and implement process and system improvements to increase stability, efficiency and automation.
    • Stay abreast of technology trends and best practices.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Build and lead the team required for system requirements and delivery.
    • Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Skills and Requirements
  • Deep understanding of people systems processes and technology landscape.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the SAP Success Factors ecosystem and HR technology trends.
  • Experience delivering technology projects and systems implementations.
  • Strategic thinking to align systems with long‑term business needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
  • Understanding of technology standards, project management life cycles and best practices.
