Director of Cyber Security

A global technology and transformation consultancy is seeking a Director of Cyber Security to lead high-impact client engagements, shape large-scale security solutions, and drive strategic growth across enterprise and public sector environments.

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role suited to someone who combines deep cyber security expertise with strong commercial and consultative capability
.

You will work closely with sales leaders, clients, and technical specialists to design and propose complex cyber security programmes that address evolving business risks. Acting as a trusted advisor at C-suite level, you’ll help organisations strengthen their security posture while enabling digital transformation.

• Partner with sales and account teams to understand client challenges and shape tailored cyber security solutions
• Lead technical discussions, executive-level presentations, and solution workshops
• Act as a trusted advisor on cyber risk, industry trends, and regulatory requirements
• Support responses to RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, building high-quality solution proposals and delivery estimates
• Influence cyber security strategy, go-to-market initiatives, and pipeline development
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to align offerings with real-world client needs
• Build strong, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers

You are a senior cyber security leader with a strong technical foundation and the credibility to operate at board and executive level. You are commercially minded, confident in front of clients, and comfortable shaping large, multi-tower security programmes.

• Proven background in enterprise cyber security leadership or consulting
• Strong domain expertise across areas such as:
• Identity & Access Management
• MDR / SOC services
• Enterprise Vulnerability Management
• OT / Critical Infrastructure Security
• Demonstrated experience designing complex, large-scale security solutions
• Excellent storytelling, value-led selling, and negotiation skills
• Track record of engaging CXOs and influencing senior stakeholders
