International Capital Markets firm is scaling its London Equities platform and is hiring a Tech Ops Associate to drive platform reliability, low-latency performance, and controlled change across OMS / EMS, eTrading / algo, market data, and exchange connectivity. You will sit close to the desk and act as the go-to owner for stability, incident response, and release safety.

• End-to-end production reliability for equities trading systems (OMS / EMS, FIX gateways, algo / eTrading, market data, post-trade).
• Reduced MTTD / MTTR via automation, clear SLAs, and robust RCAs / post-mortems.
• Safer, faster releases (blue / green, canary, feature flags) in partnership with Trading, Quant, and Engineering.
• Mature observability (logs / metrics / traces), capacity planning, and performance tuning for low-latency flows.
• Strong production hygiene and controls aligned to MiFID II / MAR / best-ex.
• Leadership of the London on-call rota and contribution to a follow-the-sun model.

• Tech Ops / Production Engineering / SRE experience supporting equities trade floor.
• FIX protocol experience.
• Unix experience.
• Practical understanding of market microstructure, exchange connectivity, and TCA / controls.
• Composed, commercially aware communicator with traders and senior leadership.

• Low-latency tuning experience.
• Experience with TCA and post-trade analytics.
• Follow-the-sun / on-call leadership.
