Senior Backup Engineer / Architect

We are looking for a technical lead to shape and implement a Rubrik-based backup strategy across our on-premise and cloud services. The role involves designing, installing and configuring backup solutions, managing data migration, integrating cloud storage (M365, Salesforce, Azure) and ensuring operational reliability.

• Design, install and configure the new Rubrik solution.
• Plan and manage the transfer of existing backup procedures to the new environment.
• Create backup designs for cloud integrations (M365, Salesforce, Azure).
• Ensure ongoing operation (troubleshooting) and monitoring using Backup Eagle.
• Act as first point of contact for audit and governance related to data security and disaster recovery.

• IT or Technology degree with relevant professional experience.
• Several years as a systems engineer in storage/backup, preferably in banking or enterprise sector.
• In-depth Linux knowledge;
  Rubrik experience a plus; alternatively experience with Dell Networker, Cohesity, Veeam, Commvault and willingness to learn Rubrik.
• Very good English skills; knowledge of German a plus.
