We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Functional Consultant to join our team and play a key role in designing, delivering, and optimising CRM solutions across the business. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days per week onsite, providing the opportunity to collaborate closely with stakeholders while maintaining flexibility.
The ideal candidate brings deep functional expertise across the D365 CE suite, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and a track record of delivering scalable, user-centric CRM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery
* Lead functional workshops to capture business requirements and translate them into scalable D365 CE solutions.
* Design end-to-end CE processes across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and related modules.
* Produce high-quality functional documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and solution design documents.
* Configure D365 CE entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and model-driven apps.
* Support integrations with Power Platform, Azure services, and third-party applications.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Act as the primary functional liaison between business teams, technical teams, and external partners.
* Challenge and refine requirements to ensure alignment with best practice and platform capability.
* Deliver user training, adoption support, and post go-live guidance.
Project & Delivery Support
* Contribute to project planning, sprint ceremonies, and release cycles.
* Support testing cycles, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
* Provide functional expertise during deployments, cutover, and hypercare.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Functional Expertise
* Proven experience delivering D365 CE solutions across multiple modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service desirable).
* Strong understanding of Dataverse, security roles, solution management, and environment strategy.
* Handson configuration experience with:
* Business process flows
* Workflows and Power Automate
* Model-driven apps
* Custom entities and relationships
Consulting & Delivery Skills
* Ability to run workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable designs.
* Strong documentation skills and experience working in Agile delivery environments.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Awareness (Desirable)
* Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
* Integration patterns using Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, or APIs.
* Basic understanding of JavaScript, plugins, or solution extensions (not essential but beneficial).
