VIQU are supporting a leading investment firm in the search for a technically skilled Cloud Solutions Architect. This newly created role is focused on designing and implementing robust, scalable IT solutions with a strong emphasis on automation, cloud technologies, and emerging tech. The role is approximately 60% hands‑on implementation and 40% solution design, giving the successful candidate the chance to both shape and deliver innovative IT projects that support business‑critical operations.

• Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end IT solutions, prioritising automation and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Power Shell, Python, etc.) to automate routine tasks and system configurations.
• Build and manage business process automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Lead solution design sessions and document architecture, workflows, and dependencies.
• Ensure secure and scalable deployment of solutions across hybrid cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Monitor, optimise, and maintain system performance, reliability, and security.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on new systems and automations.

• Proven experience in IT systems engineering with a focus on automation, cloud, and scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in solution design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage stakeholders clearly and professionally.
• Keen interest in emerging technologies, including cloud, AI, cybersecurity, and data.
