* The role:

** At DXC,one of our platinum accounts has an openings for a Senior Security Engineer. We are looking for the following for successful candidate to join our expanding team.
** Role responsibilities :
*** Provide second and third level technical support on incidents and problems
* Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
* Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
* Requirements consulting, design, implementation and maintenance of security toolsets and integrations
* Assist the Account Security Team with processes and policies
** What you will bring to the team :
*** Excellent organisation and time management skills
* Working to ITIL best practices
* Desire to improve processes, looking for the root cause of a problem
* Willingness to both share your knowledge and learn from others
* A proactive approach towards looking for risks and problems
* Assist in shaping future security services on key client accounts
** Desirable Skills and Technologies** :
* Solid knowledge and understanding of networking
* Experience in the design, implementation and ongoing management of security toolsets and technologies within both on-premises and cloud environments
* Experience or knowledge of operating systems, PKI, anti-virus, firewalls, device and application control, privileged access management, vulnerability management, security monitoring
* Comfortable with scripting eg Powershell, Bash
* Good understanding of non-functional/quality requirements within security toolset designs
* Strong awareness of governance, risk and compliance
* Awareness and understanding of modern technology tools eg  Git, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and their related security considerations
* Ability to communicate key details of technical solutions to variety of stakeholders, including non-technical audiences
* Ability to plan, design and demonstrate proof of concepts relating to a variety of security toolsets
