Cloud Platform Network Engineer

Location: Greater London

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Platform Network Engineer to join a growing technology team working on secure, large-scale cloud environments. This permanent role will focus on delivering reliable, scalable and secure Azure network infrastructure across hybrid platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design and implement Azure networking solutions including VNets, VPN Gateways, NSGs, Azure Firewall and WAF

* Support hub-and-spoke topologies and hybrid connectivity

* Monitor and optimise network performance across cloud and on-premise environments

* Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues quickly and effectively

* Automate network configuration using Terraform, Power Shell and Azure CLI

* Maintain observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Network Watcher

* Ensure deployments align with security and compliance standards

* Produce technical documentation and support knowledge sharing

Required Experience:

* Strong hands-on experience with Azure networking and cloud infrastructure

* Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and firewall principles

* Experience with Azure networking services such as Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Network Watcher, Firewall and WAF

* Practical experience with Terraform, Azure CLI and Power Shell

* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

* Current and valid SC Clearance is essential

Preferred:

* Azure Network Engineer certification

* Experience with Zscaler, Okta or CI/CD practices

* Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools
