2nd Line Support Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our clients team on a contract basis, supporting a busy Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

You will be responsible for handling escalated support issues, working closely with 1st and 3rd line engineers, and ensuring high quality service delivery across a diverse client base.

• Provide 2nd line technical support within an MSP environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests
• Work with 1st line to assist with issue resolution and knowledge sharing
• Manage tickets efficiently, ensuring SLA compliance
• Assist with maintenance, upgrades, and small project work
• Accurately document issues, fixes, and procedures

• Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role within an MSP
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune)
• Azure experience
• Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs)
• Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

• Outside IR35
• 6 month contract
• GBP 200–250 a day
• ASAP start
• Hybrid: 2 days a week in London (Liverpool Street)
